This is Sean's Mk2 Saloon which he has owned for around 2 years. Sean eventually bought this car after 2 return trips to Stoke On Trent. Once he had the car it underwent a mild restoration, sills were repaired along with the headlamp panels. The car was then primed and painted in fresh Reynard metallic.
This is Chris' Ital van. The van has had a headlamp and grille swap to Mk3 Marina. The only tell tale signs are the year of registration. Lovely job made of it though and one of which Chris really likes.

Here is Dougie's very scarce MK3 H.L Estate. This car was recovered from a garage just outside Cardiff where it had lay for over 17 years. Surprisingly not to much work was required to put her back on the road, and it looks even better in the flesh.


Here is Arthur's Pilgrim Bulldog which is currently off the road at the moment awaiting new paint after it was involved in an accident. Raymond the former owner had worked hard repairing the car which now isn't to far away now so should be back on the road in the near future.
This is Jane's MK3 1.7 Saloon. The purchase of this car was a total accident. A few members went down south to collect a van and returned with this little cracker. The deal was done with the cars former owner Stevie and the resullt was Jane acquired one of the last Mk3's around.

Update from Sean:
Work has been ongoing on the offside of the van and is almost complete. Due to new work commitments by Sean progress has been slow but Sean plans to make a fresh start by Summer.
Jobs still to do include: weld 2 new floor pans in, Repair N/S wing and a tiny bit of welding around the back window. Photos to follow!

Here is a photo of Michael's newly acquired MK3. The car has been in the club for a few years but never quite made it to a show. Michael is going to challenge it and no doubt will let us know how he gets on.

This is Irene's very trusty MK2 Estate car. This is only part of Irene's collection as she also has a MK1 Saloon and a MK2 Pick-Up which is to be restored in the near future. The estate has recently been resprayed and it now really looks very nice indeed.
This is John's Pilgrim Bulldog which was a full rebuild of which the pictures can be seen on the workshop page. This kit is immaculate inside and out and John is very pleased with the end result.


The famous Hallyburton pick-up. This is what Irene has in store for her dad once he retires. A full body restoration of which all the body panels have been sourced for. Look forward to seeing it upon completion in a few years.

This is one of Paul's many Marina's, a 1.8 automatic coupe. This car is a workhorse and is a daily runner which has never let him down and has came to the rescue of a few members cars in the case of an emergency.

A cracking photo this taken outside a Morris garage. This camper belongs to Brian which really suits the dolly sprint wheels. This is only part of Brian's vast fleet which we are currently awaiting more pictures of.

Here is Peter's MK1 Saloon. Peter purchased this car a few years ago from a local garage in Edinburgh. This car is believed to have been driven by Prince Charles not on after he passed his test whilst on a trip to up north. A really cracking little find and we look forward to it being in attendance on the club stand.

This is Jason's cracking looking MK3.
Christened by friends as dusty, intially buying a marina was greeted with ridicule by most of my friends and familiy though my brother did state that it was the 'most sensible stupid idea yet'
Dusty was purchased with the help of the legendary marinabrian, and found to bee a good car with no major issues, and has proved itself since, no real work needed and it never fails to turn heads. In fact my friends now like the old girl and now having passed its MOT i look forward to another year of happy motoring.
This is Joseph's 1.3 MK1 Coupe in Damask Red. This is one part of his collection of classic cars which includes many other makes and models. It has to be said that this is the pick of them.

This is Craig's little Morris Ital. Craig has now owned the car for a few years and is delighted with it. It is complete with no welding ever been done although it has had a new set of wings. It is indeed a very tidy original example.
Here is Joe's newly purchased 1971 Mk1 Marina Coupe. The car was bought from fellow member Bruce, who most people will know used it for classic rallying. Joe has been looking for another one since he sold his saloon and coupe over the winter in 2009

Here we have Barry's stunning Mk2 Estate. It started life of as an orange one and was quickly overhauled in a sky blue colour with door handles and boot catch removed and smoothed over and then 2 inch lowering blocks were added. Let's see what other mods are made, should be worth the wait.

This is Dave's 1.7 o series powered Marlin Roadster. This is currently the only 1 in the club at the moment, but it is a very nice example indeed.

This is one of only about half a dozen Itals that are in the club and it is owned by Michael who also owns a Mk2 and a Mk3 Marina. The car has had previous owners from within the club but it is Michael who now has it in his possession and wants to restore it to it's former glory.
We have here another full body restoration of which Sean is in command of. The vehicle was bought from a guy in Doncaster who had owned the vehicle since new. This is a Austin Marina van which requires every body panel replaced and a full paint job inside and out. I'm sure it won't take him to long once he has his pick-up sorted out.
Update April 09: Still gathering the required panels to start the restoration.

Here is Ray's MK1 Coupe which is known as ' The General '. Ray has had the car for nearly 6 years, and the car itself is well recognised in the show circuit all over the country.
This is Stuart's tax exempt MK1 T.C Saloon. It was registered in Ayr on 1st August 1972 and survived ten years of use before being parked up in a barn. 20 years later, the car was saved from the crusher by a former member. It has recently undergone a full restoration and is a good example of the sought after MGB-engined Marina!! Oh, and it's green by-the-way!!

This is a photo of Russ' MK3 Pick-up which has been in the family since new.. Initially this car started life as a standard 1.3. It was then converted to stage 2 b series spec, although the car is now 2ltre o series powered .It also benefits from front and rear anti roll bars and sits on spax shockers all round.

Here is Sandy's original MK3 Saloon. This car has only covered 10,500 miles from new with every receipt and bill kept for the car. This fine example of a MK 3 must be one of the best in the U.K. Due to other commitments this car may be for sale so the current owner is looking for a possible new owner to keep the car how it has looked all these years.
This is Mick's 19k mile saloonwhich he purchased fro a fellow club member in 2009. This car had been locked up in a garage in the midlands for over 15 years. The car has now had a full restoration which was done quickly due to being solid and un-welded from new.


A lovely little mk2 Coupe which is owned by Antony. The car itself is in very good condition for it's age and is solid throughout. Antony is one of our furthest southern based members but is more than willing to atend shows when he can to show off this little beauty.

This is Gary's T.C Jubilee which has been of the road for just under 30 years. It was saved by a fellow club member and a deal was done for the jubilee which Gary had been looking for having previously owned one. Hopefully we will see the car at some point in 2010.

This is Tom's lovely little MK1 Coupe which is a 1.8 auto. This car has recently had a full interior refurbishment and looks stunning. The car also has full reclining webasto sunroof.
This is the other half of Michael's collection. This car was advertised for free to a loving home. So Michael and another club member went on a 900 mile round trip to collect, well worth the journey by the looks of things.
Here we have a picture of Chris' latest restoration project. At the moment he is collecting all the parts required to do the job and no doubt once he has them l in place and makes a start it will be a cracking little MK1 coupe.


Graeme has sent us this picture of his 1974 Morris 10 Van Cwt which he purchased in April 08. One Family from new and spent its time in inner London. Totally original apart from front wings and rear arches. Fully re-sprayed end of 2008.Awaiting sign writing for his van sales business.
This is a picture of Simon's 1971 Marina Coupe. This car was bought recently as Simon had wanted another for ages. The car has stood since 1994 and is in need of a bit of tlc. The underside has already been done and we look forward to see it completed and on display by the end of the year.

This is a nice looking Ital which is owned by Kevin. It is done in a silver with black vinyl roof, which looks great when all polished up and is the only one of this colour in the club. All in all a very tidy example which will look great on the club stand.

This is my first Marina. its a 1.8 MKII Coupe special. It needs some TLC, but at least in my hands, it will get it - eventually.
There aren't too many of them here in ireland, so she does turn heads. And the colour is very unusual too.

This is Jane's lovely little Morris Ital. Jane has just purchased the car recently and is looking forward to attending events with the club in the very near future. It is Jane's first of B.L finest and is already loving the experience.

This is Larry's new project. It is the first Pilgrim Bulldog made by Gowanbank Motors Arbroath. Larry's wife was a fan of them so Larry thought it was a good idea to purchase one. The car itself is solid, although interior needs a full re-trim.

This is Clive's 1.8 based Pilgrim Bulldog. Clive has had this kit for a good few years now and even tows his caravan to all the shows with it which is a breeze due to it's engine capacity.

This is Willaim's recently purchased 1.8 Pilgrim Bulldog. The car was bought just before christmas 2009 and William is looking forward to getting a new coat of paint on it for attending some shows in 2010.
